Our car radios are generally supplied with the correct connectors. If the connectors do not match, please read these instructions to find out how to resolve the issue.
52-Pin Connector
If your vehicle has a connector with 2 tall pins as shown in the image below, and the connector supplied with the car radio does not have 2 pins that fit into it, your vehicle is equipped with the new type of Quadlock. Fortunately, adapter cables are available for this. You can order the adapter cable AVN-C10 to solve the problem.
12-Pin Connector
Does your vehicle have a flat screen with this connection? If so, the original car radio connector is likely in the glove compartment. The connector that goes to the flat screen is for the video signal; your current car radio consists of two parts: a screen and a computer. You can still connect our car radio. You need to disconnect the connector that is attached to the computer in the glove compartment and connect it to our car radio connector. If the cable is too short, you can order an extension cable.
None of the Above Connections
If you have a different type of connector, it may be that an adapter cable is already connected to the original car radio connector, possibly because your vehicle is equipped with a universal car radio or a car kit system. Try disconnecting all cables until you find the original car radio connector of your vehicle. Please contact us if you need assistance.
